This little girl, from Dawnoday Shetland Sheepdogs, joined our family on October 17, 2004.
We were originally planning to call her Phantom, but it turns out she responds better to the French "Fantôme".

What could be cutter than one puppy? How about two puppies? Here is Fantôme meeting Farley, a miniature poodle who lives on our street.

We were advised to socialize our Sheltie as soon as possible, so we've been taking her to Bruce Pit, a popular dog walking area, every chance we get.
Fantôme showed immediate interest in everyone she met (human and canine), and is a big hit with everyone.

It's important to socialize puppies early. Lately, Fantôme has been enjoying play dates with Luke, a 12-week-old Rottweiler.
Puppies love to wrestle!
Another favourite game - let's chase each other.

We visited Fantôme's kennel, Dawnoday Shetland Sheepdogs, and she had a chance to play with her sister Tiffany.

Fantôme is 10 months old now, and has reached her full size (she's about 14 pounds). Who would have thought she'd end up with this much coat? (And she's due for some grooming!) She remains as playful as ever, and loves spending time with us playing and training. Training is a charm, as she's a very fast learner!
